KOSMEK High-Power Link and Lever Clamps
With Kosmek clamping elements, such as swivel and lever clamps, it is possible to achieve clamping forces in the low-pressure range (up to 70 bar) that are almost equal to those of conventional systems in the high-pressure range (up to 350 bar), whilst maintaining a comparable size. The patented ‘mechanical locking’ mechanism enables higher clamping forces and additional holding forces. This means that hydraulic clamping devices can be replaced by pneumatic ones (‘oil-free machines’).
This enables the use of smaller sizes, better utilisation of the machine space and the use of smaller, more cost-effective systems. Fewer components are required, and operating costs are reduced thanks to lower energy consumption.
KOSMEK offers a wide range of swivel and lever clamps for every application. Hydraulic models up to 350 bar and up to 70 bar (both double- and single-acting), as well as pneumatic models up to 6 bar – available with or without the patented ‘mechanical locking mechanism’.
